Danish BioImaging (DBI) is a national consortium of Danish universities, research institutions and commercial companies with an interest in bioimaging as a tool for life science. It was established to foster research collaboration, share expertise, best practice and bioimaging research infrastructures within the medical and natural sciences, nationally and internationally.

    🔴The upcoming Danish Bioimaging symposium is fast approaching!  This is a unique opportunity to network with the Danish Bioimaging community, learn about the latest bioimaging technologies, and share your latest image-based research. 🔴You are also welcome to submit your abstract or /and bring a poster of your core facility or group to the Symposium!. The abstract submission deadline is May 27.     Light Sheet Microscopy Workshop in Aarhus!     🔴Join us on an Image Analysis Course in Copenhagen, 14-21st June 2024!   In this 6-day Image Analysis course, you will learn what a digital image is, how and when to perform basic image processing tasks, and how to combine such tasks to perform advanced image processing and segmentation, automated pixel classification, and 2D and 3D measurements.   Furthermore, the program includes sessions dedicated to working on your own projects, with advice, supervision, and support from experienced teachers who are there to help every step of the way.     🔴 Full House at the DBI-INFRA QuPath Workshop in Aarhus last week! 25 participants attended the workshop organized by the DBI-INFRA  Image Analysis Core Facility, and hosted by the Bioimaging Core Facility - Aarhus University. https://imaging.au.dk/ A hands-on workshop tailored for life scientists and bioimaging facility staff to learn how to quantify histology and multiplexing images.   'The format of the workshop, with alternating demos and exercises, was great. I would like to praise the teachers for a very pedagogical approach when helping one on one. It was a good workshop, and you all did great!’. Feedback from one of the participants, praising the teaching quality of Tricia Loo Yi Jun, Julia Mertesdorf and Richard DE METS.     Danish Bioimaging is attending the third Bridging Nordic Microscopy Infrastructure (BNMI) network meeting in the beautiful Norwegian mountains, in Geilo. The main conference is held from the 10th to the 12th of April with an exciting scientific program as well as social program. Morten Schallburg Nielsen, anna lorentzen, Nynne Meyn Christensen, Dr. Nina Burmeister, Eva Arnspang Christensen, Yenisleidy de las Mercedes Zulueta Díaz, Thomas Hartig Braunstein, Keqing Sunny Dai, Sebastian Kjeldgaard-Nintemann, Sonia Diaz, cristiano di benedetto, Jialing Hu and Jonathan Brewer (in the photo) with Julia Mertesdorf and Tricia Loo Yi Jun are gathering with colleagues from the other Nordic countries and actively participating in the program and outdoor activities :) Thanks to the BNMI organizers for hosting this exceptional event with insightful discussions and enjoyable social activities! ⚪️About BNMI The overarching objective of Bridging Nordic Microscopy Infrastructure (BNMI) is to strengthen international competitiveness and excellence by cultivating ecosystems for advanced microscopy through collaboration among our Nordic neighbors.     🌐 Danish Bioimaging is proud to host the interdisciplinary intercontinental imaging workshop Molecules to Human (M2H)! The M2H boot camp, fully funded by Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, will take place in Denmark on 16-27 September 2024 hosted by, the Danish BioImaging Network, the Euro-BioImaging Node in Denmark. The workshop will encompass topics such as introduction to research models, identification of optimal imaging workflows and image analysis strategies, research project management, data handling, and image analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for global light microscopists & biomedical imaging scientists to attend an all-expenses paid "Molecules 2 Humans" bootcamp with the objective of Learning, bridging the communities and fostering collaborations!.
